The HULA HULA is also on the north slopeof the Brooks Range and is excellent for white-water, wildlife viewing and hiking. It flows deep within abeautiful narrow canyon with lots of rapids. The trip then takes you to the arctic coastal plain, calving grounds of the caribou and feeding grounds of the grizzlies and wolves. Mt. Michelson 8,855 ft is highly glaciated, so much so, it looks like it belongs in the Saint Elias Range! Awesome country.
