This river is magnificent. The volcano that
attends us on our journey is so enormous and impressive its really hard
to imagine or describe. Wade fishing is very good and the Rainbows are big and fat. The Medved River is an ideal choice.

The
Medved River has many interesting sights
along its banks. There are hot springs, gas springs, beautiful views
and some short hikes of interest. Rapids are at the top of the river as
it flows into a caldera. The fishing inside the caldera is fantastic.
There are more rapids as the river flows from the caldera and widens
gracefully into a myriad of islands.
